  1. For the dal : Wash and soak the dals in water for 2 hours. Drain ina pot or pressure cooker add soaked dals along with ingredients listed for dal.Cover pot with a tight fitted lid or pressure cook the dal until soft and mashed,Turn the heat off, Keep aside,.
  2. For the mutton: In a deep bottomed pot or pressure cooker heat oil. Add cumin seeds.When they start to crackle add onions along with ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies..
